Feast Site Description 2010
We'll return and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles to that same beautiful place near Rome, as its four-star hotel prices are kept almost as low as last year's with still good quality. Shuttle service and pickup from the Roman international airport to the Feast hotel shall be provided days before and after the Feast.
Church services will be held alternately in English and Italian languages, with simultaneous translation. Headphones will be provided on site. English language is spoken and understood by a good number of Italian brethren who are looking forward to meeting and fellowshipping with you.
Our two Feast hotels have their own private beach with sun-umbrella and sun-beds, as they are located right on a golden sandy beach, almost one next to the other, facing one of the most limpid and uncontaminated stretches of water in the Tyrrhenian Sea. This means that in your spare time, and especially during the Feast's Family Day, we can enjoy the most entertaining and various sport activity: swimming, beach volley, table tennis, and beach games, all at no extra cost. Also, a brand new Beauty-center, with gym and sauna and turkish bath will be available to all Feast participants at a very low price.
The hotel facilities provides opportunities for relax and fun to our children, young brethren, singles and families. Also, our feast site has proven to be suitable to the spirituality of the Feast, as it is surrounded by sunny dunes and lakes and the sea. The entire area appears to the visitor as an incomparable witness of the perfect fusion of natural elements, which draws us closer to our Creator God, the greatest artist of all. The climate at our feast site s very mild: night and day temperature: 67-95°F.
The Feast site is located very close to the fascinating and historical city of Rome, the Vatican City as well as Pompei (south of Naples), which was destroyed by Vesuvio explosion in 79 b.C.). Cutural tours to those places will be offered at a very affordable prices. Roman famous historical places like the Coliseum, Imperial Forum, Christian catacombs, St. Peter's Basilica and several other places that are a witness of paganism over true Christianity. It will be history becoming alive before your eyes. Tuscany: The feast site this year is near Rome, but a two-day Pre-feast cultural tour in Florence, Siena and San Gimignano may be offered to the brethren who can attend the Atonement Day at our Feast site near Rome.
Furthermore, the brethren who wish to visit other parts of Italy on their own, either before and after the Feast, our feast site gives the opportunity to easily reach and visit by train other beautiful and famous places like Naples, Amalfi, Capri, Ischia or even up to Venice if you can stay there at the least overnight.
The hotel rooms at our feast site are equipped with telephone, TV set, air condition and shower. The hotel is offering us very special prices, inclusive of tax and full board (three meals a day (as displayed in your virtual booking form upon submiting your Feast Application). Discounts are offered to children who will be sharing room with their relatives: 50% discount for children 3-6 years old. 30% discount for children 7-12 years old. No cost for children under 2.
In regard to food, the Italian cuisine is one of the richest and delicious and exquisite in the world. The hotel staff can speak English and its restaurant can host a large group of brethren so that we can enjoy our meals all together in Christian fellowship. The chefs at our feast site know the distinction of clean and unclean meats, and the restaurant staff is looking forward to welcoming and serving us diligently even with special food needs.
Furthermore, our Italian young brethren will offer a Talent-Show, an Evening Dance and a Family Day on the beach, by involving as many as talented volunteers as possible for the enjoyment of all Feast participants. If you can either sing or play the piano or any other musical instrument, or if you have any other artistic talent that may entertain the brethren at the Talent Show, your talent will be very most welcome. Choir singers and piano players are most welcome as well. Your involvement in making the Feast a greater success to God’s glory will be appreciated with gratitude.
